Growing up, I was always the kid who asked too many questions. My constant why’s drove my parents crazy. "Tingting," my mom would say, "will you stop asking why people study math and just finish the equation?" To this day, my mom still thinks I was just avoiding my homework. That was the first glimpse of my curiosity for reasoning.

I never stopped asking why. The glimmer transformed into a passion for reasoned creativity during my studies in design. All things are ignited with a question, and a solution blooms through critical thinking. I believe in the immense power of research-informed design decisions.

When I'm not designing, I experiment with innovative technologies and study classical art, studying both sides of the timeline. In my free time, I assist the Met Museum in documenting ancient Chinese paintings and guide young children in exploring art materials.
